As the demands of work and our hectic schedules kept us apart for months, I knew it was time to reconnect with the boys. With a spontaneous phone call, the plan was set – a last-minute getaway for a few days. Within no time, I had us booked into the serene Bet Bet Creek Homestead, nestled along the tranquil banks of Bet Bet Creek. It was the perfect escape, conveniently situated between the charming rural towns of Maryborough and Avoca.

Our adventure began with exploration; we ventured to local wineries, indulging in the delightful produce the region had to offer. The taste of the local wines and delicacies added to the charm of the trip. As the day transitioned to night, we returned to the homestead, where the real bonding happened. A night of whisky, wine, board games, and pool laid the foundation for unforgettable moments and deep laughter. It was a time to cherish – reconnecting with old friends in the heart of nature's embrace.
